I MADE A HUGE MISTAKE! HELP?

yes, im a 15 yr old guy. i used hair clippers on my chest hair and now they are really itchy! i mean, i actually think it looks pretty good i left them long enough so that they still look natural, just less dense but it itches! is it because of the blunt sharp ends? will they become tapered and normal again if i leave them alone? IM SCARED!!
