Hottest day in england how do i cool down?!?!?

i'm in my house covered in sweat baths and showers only heat me up i'm in a baggy nighty my fans on and i swear my room is cooler than out side (btw my window is closed annoying thunder flys go EVERYWHERE) how do i cool down?
