What gear do i need for a newborn?

I've had an unexpected but very welcomed pregnancy. Being only 20 and my bf 24 we don't exactly have the common knowledge of essencial things we need for a newborn. I'm from a large family. Mother had 8 children and dad had 5 so I know a few things. My mom said id probably never need a high chair and that's not till later on anyway. So besides diapers, oneseez, burp rags, sling, baby power, nail clippers and the nose sucker what else should I invest in? Well appreciated (: Thanks!
